WORKTOPS

Cut-to-size worktops!

Cut-to-size worktops are just the right size and durable. We provide a wide selection of colour, surface material, core material, edgebanding and edge profile options. Worktops are available in several different collections, check them out on the collections page. A variety of shapes, joints and holes can be machined for the worktops.

HALF-BULLNOSE WORKTOPS

Half-bullnose worktops are primarily used for kitchens and service counters in public spaces. The front edge of the half-bullnose worktop is curved, and the other edges have laminate strip edgebands. The edge with the half-bullnose profile is seamless, which makes is hygienic and durable. All worktops have a backing sheet on the underside.

STRAIGHT EDGE WORKTOPS

The edges of the straight edge worktop have laminate strip, wood or ABS edgebands. All worktops have a backing sheet on the underside. Worktops are available in a variety of particle board thicknesses. The standard thickness is 30 mm.

BEVELLED EDGE WORKTOPS

A worktop with a bevelled edge profile provides designers opportunities for elegant and durable solutions. An edge does not need to have a straight angle – we can use ABS banding to produce a 22.5- or 45-degree angle.

BIRCH PLYWOOD WORKTOPS

A birch plywood worktop laminated with high-pressure laminate is an elegant solution.

Birch plywood is a well-established material in Scandinavian furniture and interior design. The layers of birch chip are usually left exposed. The edges are shaped with a router or left straight. They can be varnished or left exposed.

WORKTOPS WITH WOODEN EDGEBANDS

Wooden edgebands on worktops can be solid wood edgebands attached to the edge, or the edges can be covered with laminate, in which case the wooden band or part of it is covered with the laminate. The most commonly used wood species used for solid wood edgebands are oak, birch and beech.

COMPACT LAMINATE WORKTOPS

A compact laminate worktop is an ideal choice for uses that require the material to be moisture-resistant and structurally robust. They are often used as worktops in the food industry and for restaurant tables and terrace furniture. The visible part of the compact laminate worktop core is black (CGS), and the edges are shaped with a CNC machine. The delicate look and lightness of the panel make the worktop unique. Common edge profiles: Straight, half-bullnose and bevel. Standard thicknesses: 10, 12, 13, 16, 18 and 20 mm.

WORKTOP WITH YOUR OWN DESIGN

Make full use of the latest digital printing technology to make your designs come true. Original art can be printed with optimal resolution with digital printing. We use the Formica Younique technology or surface printing to incorporate your own unique images on the laminate sheets.

The Younique© printed laminates take around 12 weeks to arrive, and manufacturing the end product with the laminate sheet adds around 2 weeks to the delivery time.

Processing of worktops

Worktops can be processed in a variety of different ways, such as shaped edgebandings, joint machining and feed-throughs with a 5-axis CNC machining center. Read more about the work we do on our services -page and download the Standard Machinings -brochure from brochures -page.
