Fenix
ARPA Fenix NTM Bloom, 10 year anniversary colors

Why Fenix?

This innovative furniture surface is based on nanotechnology and is used like laminates. The surface is thick and durable, which also makes it an ideal material for kitchen surfaces that require wear resistance.

Fenix does not reflect light, and no fingerprints are left on the surface.  This product doesn’t require special maintenance – you can wipe it clean with a damp cloth and normal household detergents.

The collection includes 33 carefully selected harmonious tones. Find more about the product: www.fenixforinteriors.com. You can see examples of furniture and fixtures with the Fenix surface here.

As a business customer you can also order samples!

FENIX is manufactured by the Italian ARPA INDUSTRIALE S.p.A., which, like Formica, is part of the Dutch Broadview Holding B.V. group.

Processed Fenix products

The panels can be edgebanded with ABS and wooden edgebands. Read more about our edgebanding options here.

We also offer a wide variety of processed panel products. These include shaped edgebanding, edge profiling, drilling and various types of holes made with our 5-axis CNC machines.

Fenix and Bloom surfaces are carbon neutral!

Sustainable development is one of Arpa Industriale’s drivers in the design of new interior materials. With Fenix -products and Bloom technology, Arpa enables its customers to navigate the challenges of sustainable development in interior design – without compromising on quality!

Traditionally, Arpa products are made of paper and thermosetting resins based on phenol. With Bloom, lignin technology has been introduced to significantly reduce the amount of phenol included in the resin by 50%. Lignin is a natural polymer defined as the glue that holds wood fibres together. With this innovation most of the key ingredients for Arpa products originate from the same place: responsibly managed forests. The remaining environmental effects of Bloom products have been compensated by other methods.

Surfaces produced with Bloom technology are plain colors and can be found in both Arpa and Arpa Fenix’s surface collections, there are more than 40 surfaces in total.

Thanks to a modern efficient production system and a product redesign minimizing CO2 emissions, and to the offsetting of the remaining CO2 emitted. FENIX will contribute to the reduction of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere, through a carbon offsetting project, based on the total quantity of square metres sold monthly.

In the future, Arpa is aiming for carbon neutrality for all surfaces!
