We deliver whole laminates and panels as well as processed panel products
Our selection of processed panels includes compact laminate panels, laminated panels with a variety of core options, laminated elements with postformed edges and unlaminated raw panels. We deliver thin laminates as whole sheets.
THIN LAMINATES
Thin laminates are approximately millimeter-thick laminate sheets that are intended to be pressed into a separate core. The core of the laminate is usually black, but many Arpa laminates are also available with a brown or colour matched core. The colour matched core matches the surface color and withstands wear and tear for a record long time, with the product being the same color throughout.
We sell thin laminates according to the Arpa Industriale and Arpa Fenix collections. Check out the collections on the collection pages. Surface and collection-specific availability as well as surface technical data (thickness, plate sizes, finish) can be found by going to the manufacturer’s website. We deliver thin laminates as whole sheets.

COMPACT LAMINATES
Compact laminate panels are made of laminate all way through. Due to their airtight structure, they are durable (wear, shocks, moisture), easy to clean and hygienic – microbes cannot grow in them. These panels are ideal for hospital fixtures, protection panels and furniture.
Compact laminate panels are laminated on both sides. Explore our surface options on the Collections page. Compact laminate panels are available in thicknesses between 3 and 20 mm (collection and surface-specific thicnesses can be seen on the collections’ websites). The core of a compact laminate panel is typically black, but several Arpa laminates and the surfaces of the Arpa Fenix collection are also available as a colour matched core, in which case the color of the core matches the surface color. Some of Arpa’s products are also available with a brown core.
Compact laminate panels are not edgebanded or treated, and the core is left exposed. The edges can be finished with a profile. Please see our standard profiles in the PDF below. Compact laminate panels can also processed in many ways with a CNC machine. Read more about our processed panels under Our services.

LAMINATED PANELS
Laminated panels consist of a laminate sheet and a core sheet. Depending on the intended use, the core may be laminated on both sides or on one side only, in which case the other side has a a backing sheet. You will find our laminate sheet options on the Collections page. Our core options:
- Particle board – Particle board is cost-effective and manufactured from wood chips and a binder agent using pressure. It is an excellent choice for manufacturing fixtures. Particle board is available with the P2 standard quality and with the P3 and P5 qualities that have improved moisture resistance. We deliver our particle board products edgebanded.
- MDF – In addition to particle board, MDF is a commonly used material in the furniture manufacturing industry because it is dense and easy to work with. MDF panels are a good choice for a variety of uses and can be fire-retardant or suitable for deep routing. The edges of a MDF product can be left exposed and treated, or edgebands can be used.
- Birch plywood – Birch plywood is used when high durability or high quality is required in applications such as speciality flooring, demanding indoor cladding and furniture manufacturing. Birch plywood edges look attractive, so they can be left exposed and treated. Technically, it is also possible to use edgebands.
- Poplar plywood – Poplar plywood is light, and it is also available as fire-retardant plywood and in IMO-tested quality, which makes it an excellent choice for shipbuilding. Despite its lightness, poplar plywood can be edgebanded and processed just like the other panels.

LIGNINIUM FURNITURE BOARDS
Ligninium is the most responsible furniture board on the market. Ligninium furniture board consists of three parts: surface, glue and core. The surface is a lignin-based durable high-pressure laminate that is pressed to the core using biodegradable glue. Formaldehyde has been replaced by lignin in the production of the core materials of the furniture board. You can get to know the trendy Ligninium collection here. The core options are:
- Particle board P2 NAF – It is an excellent choice for manufacturing fixtures. We deliver our particle board products edgebanded.
- MDF NAF – In addition to particle board, MDF is a commonly used material in the furniture manufacturing industry because it is dense and easy to work with. MDF panels are a good choice for a variety of uses and can be fire-retardant or have moisture resistance properties. The edges of a MDF product can be left exposed and treated, or edgebands can be used.

POSTFORMED ELEMENTS
Postformed elements have seamless edges. These durable and hygienic edges are ideal for service desks in public spaces that are subject to a lot of wear and tear, as well as hospitals and other facilities that require a high level of hygiene.
- Postformed worktop elements – These elements come with a curved postformed edge with a R5 radius, and the straight edges are edgebanded with laminate strips. The surfaces of these worktops come from the IKI Collection or our in-stock collection, and the worktops have a backing sheet on the underside. The core material is P2 standard quality particle board. These elements can have one or two curved edges. Standard measurements:
- One curved edge, postformed worktop elements of 30 x 3,050 x 600 mm and 30 x 3,050 x 620 mm
- Two curved edges, bar counters of 30 x 3,050 x 640 mm, 30 x 3,050 x 905 mm and 30 x 3,050 x 1,220 mm.
- Postformed door elements – These elements come with two curved postformed edges with a R5 radius. The other two edges usually have ABS edgebands. The doors have a surface pattern on both sides, and the surfaces come from the IKI Collection. Our postformed door elements are available in standard door widths, and the length of these elements is 3,050 mm, and the thickness is 18 mm. The core material is P2 standard quality particle board.
- Special postformed elements – Special postforming can be used to achieve a high and seamless curved edge. Special postforming is often used for buffet counters, as well as speciality fixtures for cruise cabins and railway carriages. Postformed elements can be made with HGP laminates and a variety of core materials. We provide made-to-order postformed elements on a project-by-project basis according to customer specifications.

RAW PANELS
We also deliver unlaminated raw panels as whole or processed panels. The core options are the same as for laminated panels:
